<p>I don't think it's that 4/15 date because it says we should've heard something by that date. I think by the end of next week (Mach 27-28) we should at least have been given an e-mail about viewing the decision online. Maybe the 28th because that's a friday and that would be the longest weekend of my life if they said "decisions will be available monday morning." I just can't wait!!</p>

<p>Today I was told by a lady in the Northwesern admissions office that decisions would be mailed out at the end of the month. She also said that students would be getting an email letting them know when the decisions would be available to see online.</p>

<p>that's a pain. I previously thought that they'd release decisions on Thursday (no later than Saturday, at the most). But now, I think they'll probably send out decisions the 31st, although I don't necessarily think that's the smartest thing to do.</p>

<p>Just posted this in the other 'when do we find out' thread... My mom (I figured they'd take a call from a parent more seriously than from a student) just spoke with the financial aid office and the woman there said that both admittance decisions and financial aid packages will be "going out" on Thursday, March 27 at the same time. Sounds like a pretty promising answer. Good luck all!</p>

<p>"Going out" is pretty ambiguous; it could be either online or snail mail decisions. I would guess that they're still going to be posting these decisions online. It wouldn't make sense for them not to.</p>
<p>You'll probably get an email saying that your decision is available online (NU did this for ED decisions).</p>

<p>no you are supposed to get the email before the package arrives not before they ship it....so they will probably be mailed and put online at the same time</p>

<p>If they did what they did for ED decisions, the packages are mailed and the online decisions go up at the same time; you will also get an email telling you that your decision is available online.</p>
