When do we get further documents?

Hi...

I was admitted to Princeton and got my letter in the mail Friday, April 1. On Monday, April 4, I sent the card back to them saying that I want to attend. Now I am just waiting for them to send more information, or at least a confirmation. I am getting nervous because my girlfriend is going to Brown, and they got back to her within a couple of days.

It would at least help my nerves to know that other people haven't gotten anything else either, and if someone actually knows when I can expect to receive something, that'd be even better.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Theodore Beers

I sent it a bit after you..around 7-8th, but I doubt they're that fast at processing replies. Most likely, they'll wait until the middle of the month to send out further packages. You're admitted...so sit back and relax

yah don't worry about it too much. i got in ED and didn't get anything (besides a like "i promise i withdrew all my other apps" card) until just this last week when they sent stuff like "don't worry, we didn't forget about you!" december to april was quite a dry spell, but hey i'll live it out for princeton. i'm sure stuff will start a'comin soon!

Ah... thank you both for your reassurance. I am just one of those people who always finds something to worry about.

Join the club, haha :) But the hard part's over, so we can all relax now. Ahhhhh. sips cool, fresh lemonade

not if we plan to take HUM 216-219....GAHHHHH! Are the forms out yet? :p

So true, sucharita. So very, very true. And exciting ;) I'm guessing the app won't come out until May or June, so we can enjoy our stress-free, relaxed lives now...while they last, haha.

I know!! My best friend got in ED at Brown and he also told me about how super-great the administration is there: on several occasions he sent a mail (to the FA office, Admission office etc), and they answered in 20 minutes!!!!

I sent a mail to the FA office about a serious matter last friday, and i still haven't got any answer... I'm actually thinking that i'll never get one. bleah.

well if its any consolation, I sent one on Friday too and I haven't got an answer either :D

But keeping your problem in mind, wouldn't it be a better idea to call? (if you can explain your position without sounding snotty, that is, which I'm sure you can :))

thanks sucharita! It is a consolation, in the sense that i'm not worried that they have something particular against me.

The whole thing troubles me but only a little, and i only wanted that Princeton be perfect :D, in this sense too... oh well at least it's perfect in the other, more important ways... blissful sigh... :D

PS not at all to imply that Brown isn't...

Edit: wow sucharita, you passed 2222 posts! me number geek 8-)

We sent an e-mail to the Princeton FA office essentially asking for aid. They didn't reply for a week, so we called them and they told us they were processing it. We thought it was kind of odd - they could have at least confirmed that they had gotten it or something, right? A week after that letter we get a letter in the mail telling us that they're giving me a $15,000 grant, so guess who isn't breathing a single bad word about them any more.

Good for you cevonia! I'm even more happy for you, as my mail essentially asked for the same thing :D (in fact, i asked for more aid :o), so this is good news for me too. So the letter arrived after 1+1 weeks? or after just one week? i didn't get that part too well...
Thanks!

my mail wasn't about asking for more aid, it was asking for some info on the COF :o...OK I'll definitely call tonight :)

anyway good luck with the aid pavalon :)

After two weeks, but if you take into account the fact that it takes a letter three days to get to Singapore, it's more like 10 days...
