When do we get our acceptance letter?

Hello, according to the UF website I was accepted to the Fall 2009 Term! :)
I, however, was wondering as to when I would receive my official letter with all the information I need to know. I read that for some people here, they have already got their letters and I was wondering if it can take a week or two? I live in Daytona Beach if that affects anything.

Also for people who got the letters already, is there any new information in it(housing, scholarships, orientation)?

I live in Texas and I got my acceptance letter today. There does not seem to be much information in it except for a letter, a really thin two page brochure and an invite to the honors college. Good Luck. You ought to be getting it soon.

Oh, what a let down. Comparing to UCF who gave me quite the attention when they first accepted me. Thanks for the information though!

Will we get rejection letters in the mail? :(

wow, its been almost a week now, didn't they say that the letters will come within a few days? >_< From what I've seen, only the people who have been invited to the Honors Collage have gotten their acceptance letters so far.

**college, whoops don't know how that typo happened.

still haven't gotten mine either..for those who made their tuition deposit, does it say Spring 2009 under Term in the payment history on your ISIS account?

I received my letter today. It's just a congratulatory letter and a pamphlet on how to smoothly transition into UF.

We received our daughter's today & we live in South FL

we received it today too in miami... do we need to pay those $200 now in order to have a much nicer room? because we are waiting for some more decisions and i don't want to pay and loose money if my D get accepted in other places and decides to go somewhere else!! they said that we can wait until may 1st to pay... but if she decides to go then she won't have a choice anymore concerning the dorms!! i'm confused!

The housing priority does not have anything to do with paying the $200 enrollment deposit. The housing priority was based on the date you applied for housing and paid the $25 fee. If you didn't apply for housing already you don't have a priority date yet. Dates were established starting back when the portal opened on July 11th. Applying now will give you a very late housing priority date.

Do we ever find out what "place in line" we got? Or do they just assign our housing and if we got what we wanted then we were towards the front?

Your housing priority date is on your original housing application and is the Application Date.

I got my letter today. I live in East-Central FL.

How do you notify UF that you will not be attending?

^ I guess you could just call them?

^^If you go onto the website under admitted students freshman, there is a link on the left for enrollment confirmation. Take that link and you'll have a chance to say you will not be coming.
