WHen do we get our BU decisions back

"Well I thought I saw that someone posted they had a 1220 and got money that would be hard to believe that it was a merit based and not applied for"

It's a grant.

-The person with the 1220

I got 33720 from BU! YEA!!!!

i just got the email, it is dated 12:50, but my decision was up around 11-11:30 est.

The e-mail (even though I was accepted) does not reveal whether you got in:

hmmm, i still didn't receive an email and my decision was posted at 10:58 est.

I got the email and my decision was up at 11:20, but i have a 1510, 4.3 GPA (above 4.0 because AP's are worth a little extra and I took 12 APs), lots of ECs and didn't get any merit aid.

My application is still "complete." :/

I just want to know..

I don't know whether I have an e-mail but my decision says "review is complete" but my results are not posted.

What link is there to check? Maybe I am not clicking where I am supposed to or something.

Did you try this link?

https://www.bu.edu/link/bin/uiscgi_...ision.pl/uismpl

And it said that I had incorrectly surfed to the site.

see posts under scholarships, honors program, trustees, etc for a variety of suggestions and info. Last year our s got his acceptance but no mention of merit $---so we thought it was a "no" even though that made no sense due to his stats. We emailed the school and called a few days later. They said we would hear in two weeks but we called after a week explaining that we needed to make plans to travel for admitted student days in mid-April and needed to know soon since it was defintely going to tip the scales for BU over Tufts, NYU, etc. Well from what I gather in such a huge school with so many applicants the process to hear is random. Some got the merit with their acceptance letters while others, like our s, had to wait. There is also a suspicion on my part that they have to give thought to offering merit $ to students they think might not accept so bottom line---email then call---explain that you need to ask if no mention of merit aid means you didn't receive any or just did not yet hear. With your stats I bet its the latter and if you call and show interest and express the legitimate need to make travel plans and your desire to attend BU you will likely her within a weeek.

the last post was a reply to you....

Congratulations everyone! Two of my best friends just got in and they're so excited!

got in.....yay...

Got waitlisted... >.< Then again, I was expecting a rejection...

Do we know if the responses are automated or not? I've been checking every hour since eleven this morning and I still don't have anything.

Got in to the theatre program! Yay

Once you sign in, don't click 'check status' like you'd usually do. On the top of the links, it says 'admission decision'.

ED admits, are we not invited to the admitted students open house? I don't think I like the way BU does business. Congrats to all who got admitted!

What did everyone recieve for Financial Aid?? I was accepted into CAS but recieved little money, even though my need is fairly high. It seems to me like they dont pay attention to financial need that much... which stinks because I love BU but I dont think I'll ever be able to afford it.
