Isn’t May 1st the last day to decided which school to attend?

yea your enrollment money and stuff need to be in by may 1st. for any school you plan to attend.

So transfer students will obviously find out before May 1st, right?

noo its different for transfers. its may 1st for freshman.

If I remember right the deadline to make your decision is like July 1 for transfers. I know it isn’t May 1.

for admitted students…does TAMU send out a package (big envelope) or just a letter?

ret541: A thickkkk package (big envelope)

haha…so if you get the small envelope, you know…I got one of those last semester.

i received the fish chronicles email today too… did everybody?

i was wondering if it meant anything or not…

I got blinn teamed ad waitlisted today! It showed up on AIS, I havent gotton the letter in the mail yet. And it told me my admisson desicion on monday.

I got blinn team and waitlisted today tooo. uhhhhhhh mann this suckss. its showed up on AIS

aww, waitlisted here too. hope they have enough room.

we don’t have to send any money to A&M yet if we are waitlisted right? Only if we get accepted we pay?
Also, if i accept an admission to a different college and then later get accepted into A&M would i be able to cancel my acceptance with the other college and get money back?

yea you can cancel your request at the other school. but you may not get your money back depends on whether its refundable or not.

i’m kinda upset. i heard like at least 2,500 kids accept wait list and they only choose around 200.

i really wanted to go to A&M and get out of new jersey.

thanks kmolm

i really should have done some volunteer work in high school. gah

According to TAMU’s statistics (Common Data Set), last year they admitted 260 off the wait list. In the fall of 2005, they admitted 1,109. It all depends on what kind of year they thought they were going to get, and what kind they actually got.

I moved up to step 4 yesterday but already found out my admissions decision today; rejected.

does anyone know how many people actually get blinn team

A&M Admissions has to offer you Blinn team.

sorrry Nalysha.

wait list is just as depressing for me. the chances are so slim. so many people applied this year. and i’m sure everyone one of them want to attend if they were accepted.

and i don’t think blinn team is worth is for me cause i’m out of state?

any insight guys?

Blinn Team is worth it! You take courses at both campus on Blinn Team. You are able to go to all sporting events, and actually are a student at A&M. You can even live on A&M Campus Dorms. http://blinnteam.tamu.edu/
The TAPP program is where you only go to Blinn and transfer over your Sophomore year.
