<p>It varies - many people have already heard. My son got a letter saying he would hear by mid March, then got a decision in mid December. I guess you can't expect to hear until March.</p>

<p>Not necessarily. I may be wrong, but it appears they accept obviously well qualified candidates fairly quickly. Similarly, those who are unqualified may find out quickly. Those on the fence, whether they applied early or late, have a longer wait as the admissions folks figure out how many they can accept without overfilling the freshman class.</p>
