I'm registering for the SATs and Collegeboard wants to know which colleges I want to send my scores to. I'm only applying Nov/Dec next year though, so this is what I want to know: do I send the scores now, or later with my app.? If I send them now, will the universities start a file on me and keep the score report, or will they just throw the report away after looking at it and wait for me to report my scores again on my app. closer to the time?

As you know, the College Board offers four free score reports with every test. You can take advantage of this by sending your earliest scores to schools where they will be "good enough," most likely an in-state safety school. If a school requires SAT II's, wait to send the scores until you have all the tests that need consideration.

Great! Thanks everyone! So the colleges I nominate on my final SAT (probably a subject test) will be sent ALL my SAT scores, for the SAT I and all the subject tests I've taken?
