When do we start choosing courses for next year at Tufts?

Will they send something over the summer, or do we wait until the fall to choose classes?

You will choose courses during orientation in the fall. The only course to choose over the summer is your advising course or option.

You pick during orientation week in September but many department websites have their course listings up and there's a course listings site off Student Services where you can see what's being offered, prerequisites, and which classes are closed.

How can courses be closed already?

Also, what are high demand courses? Almost full?

Courses are closed because all the other students beyond freshman have already registered in April. High demand courses mean that they are very popular and sometimes require registration at the office of that department. Almost full means just that--that the number of seats left in the course are very small. Each class has a certain number of students that can take it. When that number is filled, the class is closed and if there is a waiting list you can be added to that list.
Your registration is online in the fall.

That's the link for the online course listings. You can't actually see how many spaces are left until you get your online user id (when you get here in the fall) but courses that aren't listed in red have at least 1 opening.
