I just received my acceptance letter from Indiana University Bloomington. My envelope has the actual letter of acceptance and two other papers. Nothing mentions if i have received any financial aid. I am wondering if that means I did not earn any merit based aid from the school or if they just tell you later. I am very curious!
Thank You

You might want to go over to the IU subforum (under Alphabetic listing of Colleges) and do a Search to see when people have been notified in the past. If that doesn’t answer your question, post a thread there.

Last year the acceptance letter included notification if the student qualified for an automatic scholarship based on stats. If your stats meet the requirements as outlined on this site [Automatic Academic Scholarships: Office of Scholarships: Indiana University Bloomington](http://www.scholarships.indiana.edu/scholarships/automatic/index.php) , then you should call and ask about it.

Within a week of acceptance my daughter got a notice of her merit award and a link to apply for competitive scholarships. It’s on it’s way to you, I’m sure. Congratulations on your acceptance.
