I found out I got into Tulane online a week and a half ago...I was just wondering how long after you heard on line have people received their letter in the mail?

My son spoke to admissions with another question the other day and mentioned that he had not received his letter yet. His acceptance was on Gibson on 10/28. The admissions counselor checked and told him that the letter went out the end of last week or on Monday of this week. It’s still not here, but we are hoping it will be today. It seems that they are making decisions quicker than they can process them which is understandable given that early action applications are probably peaking as we approach the deadline.

@shepherdp, if you call in and talk to someone in the admissions office they can let you know when (if) your letter was mailed.

i actually just got my letter! 22,000 a year and honors college!

shepherdp - That’s great! You going to go to Honors Weekend?

Also, do you mind posting your stats (UW GPA, SAT and/or ACT scores, # of AP courses)? Thanks.

That’s great shepherdp! Still waiting here. We don’t get mail on Veteran’s Day!

Now I am curious how he got it today. Veteran’s Day is a Federal holiday, no mail delivery anywhere in the USA. Are you Canadian, shepherdp?

oh well i go to boarding school so my mom wasnt home until today so she just got the mail from the last couple days it probably came yesterday or something

so stats:
act- 31
uw gpa- im not really sure by weighted gpa is 5.2 out of 6 which is the top 10% of my class because I go to a very rigorous boarding school
ap classes this year- ap psych, ap government, ap english literature
ap classes last year- ap spanish, ap us history
ap classes sophomore year- ap modern european history

oh and yes of course im going to honors weekend!

Thanks for the info and congrats again. Sounds like you have had a very productive high school career. Top 10% at such a competitive school is a fine achievement. Have fun in New Orleans!
