When do you interview?

Hi all,
For the Harvard application process, do you sign up for and have an interview during your application or after you submit your application?
Thanks!

For US Applicants: After you press the submit button, the Admissions office forwards your contact information (email, address, phone number) to your local alumni chapter – that’s true for Harvard and every college that conducts interviews. It is then up to the alumni chapter to contact you (usually via email) and schedule an interview based upon the number of applicants in an admissions cycle (SCEA or RD) and how many alumni volunteers are available to interview prospective applicants. My guess is that if you press the submit button today, you won’t hear until sometime in September, as many folks take off the last several weeks of August. If you submit in September or October, you will most levelly be contacted for an interview prior to Thanksgiving.

Well I live in Canada, so I guess the same thing for American students work for me. Thanks!
