So, the official site says "late February" but I think this might be a little bs.... I've heard rumors of people getting them after and even sometimes before that deadline. Anyone really know?

Any input is appreciated.

It really depends on your background. I called them last week, the lady told me early april. She said I should start checking my status late feb!
She also said that it doesn’t depend on when you turned in your application.

I don’t think y’all have to wait much longer. The report of April is inconsistent with the website (which has said “late Feb” from the begining of this year’s admission cycle) and several reports on this forum that Admissions has recently been telling everyone Feb 15. I was told Feb 15 during an in-person conversation with an Admissions officer, so I tend to believe it!

Hang in there, and good luck!

I don’t want to start a new thread for a quick question, so I hope someone can give me an answer on here.

My UT EID status says:
We’ve received all the items that are required to review and process your application. The Admissions Committee is currently reviewing your application for admission. Once the Committee reaches a decision, you’ll be notified by mail and your decision will be posted on this page.

Application and required documents were received on time.

Is this what is says/said for everyone else too? Just want to make sure; I’m in an odd situation.

Yes it is the same for me and has said that for the last few months since I applied

^Thanks for the response. Hook 'Em!

I know that a lot of non top 8, in-staters found out over the weekend. so they should continue to come out and hopefully all be out by the 15th

My D found out last year on February 28th…to be exact…she was non top 10%. Most of her classmates that got in under holitic review found out that same day…in fact, it wasn’t until midnight that night…it could be different this year though…you never know.

The deadline was earlier this year. Hopefully, that means that decisions will be done earlier, too. I hope for the best decisions for you all.

Does UT require Senior first semester grades?

I dont think so… I think they make thier decsions based on the transcript submitted with the application, which goes until the end of Junior year…

that’s not necessarily true. my status says they got my new transcript with my grades from 1st semester senior year so they must factor in

Redsox, are you OOS?

Yep!! Why do you ask?

So, once I get my first semester senior year grades, I should ask my counselor to mail them in?

EDIT: That is, if I don’t get a decision before first semester senior grades come out.

Because I don’t see that they have my 1st semester sr transcript and I’m in state

I am becoming so impatient with the wait!

One of my friends found out over the weekend and I am still in the dark!

Hopefully February 15th will get here soon!

@viggyram My high school just sent out updated ranks factoring in our first semester grades to UT if we had an increase in rank; if we dropped they didn’t bother to send the new ranks. My status check page already has my new rank on it.

^OK, my rank might slip (definitely won’t go up) after this first semester. So, I shouldn’t bother sending anything else in?

@ViggyRam: you will need to send your final HS transcript once it is produced. I don’t think UT expects mid-year grades from seniors. I don’t think they accept them after January 31.
