I took one dual credit class last summer and was under the assumption that I would have to send in a college transcript to every university that I'm applying to.

However, I was looking at the requirements for TAMU and it showed "Official college transcript showing any dual credit" under "if admitted". Should I go ahead and send it in to every school to be safe or should I wait and only send it in if I am admitted?

I think you were admitted. If you are talking about collegenow or similiar programs where you took college credit classes while at school, there were some forms you filled out up front, right ? My son went through this. Even if you never set foot at that college, if you have a transcript with them you were admitted.

Yes. Send all transcripts to all schools. If asked to submit mid year transcripts also send all. If requesting a credit transfer report send all college transcripts. When you are done with hs send final copies of all transcripts.

Yes this is a hassle, and yes someone somewhere is making fortune on those pesky fees, but thats the game.

@mitchklong I think by “if admitted,” it is referring to the college you are applying to, not the one you received the credit from.

I would be safe and send your dual credit transcript now to all the colleges. You can usually do that through the dual credit college’s website. Then if anything about that transcript changes (for example, you take another dual credit class) submit a final transcript to the college you will be attending.
