Just wanted to know the study habits of the CC community.

I usually start my homework at 11 pm and go to bed at 2. Then on the following day I take a one-and-a-half-hour nap, Facebookrastinate, CCcrastinate, and then the process starts all over again.
And I'm still ranked 7/1004!

At what time do you start your homework? If it's late, do you still get good sleep and good grades/rank?

Not sure how I do it, as all my friends in my classes complain about all the books they have to bring home day in, day out. I think it’s because I don’t study.

I try to start before dinner, but that never happens. So if it’s a good day, then maybe 8. Lazy day, then 9 or 10. It’s all because of distractions (cough CC cough).

I get adequate sleep compared to my other peers; i sleep at like 11 or 12. But that’s still enough for me and sleeping a 12 would cause me to fall asleep in Trig, so I try not to do that. According to some of my friends, 7 hours of sleep is a lot.

My grades are decent. I would do better if I worked as hard and slept as less as I did during freshman year. Ranking: top 5/~1300

O_O how do you guys manage this? 3rd term (I had all AP courses–Bio, Calc, Gov, Lit) I started homework at 4pm and stayed up until 12:45am-ish…I didn’t work the whole time of course, but it’s not like I majorly procrastinated either. And then I get up at 5:45am every day and start it all over again. Halfway through that term I started needing 15 min naps around 8 or 9 pm though…power naps help! :)

I’d get less homework if I used my class time more efficiently. If I have a big project/assignment to do, I do it on Wednesday after school (which finishes at 2:30 and I have no extracurriculars on) or during the weekend (which is free, except for my music lesson). The other smaller quantities of homework are done after dinner for an hour from around 7:30to 10:30.
