cool, I went to southwest

very nice, I’ve heard good things

Finally found out yesterday after months of waiting. Now it looks like I get to wait some more…

Can’t believe you did not get in. What was the other major that you applied for? Petroleum is pretty hard to get in to.

I applied to petroleum engineering and then Chemistry.

I knew the chances of me getting in engineering weren’t too great but I always expected at least general studies.

ACCEPTED found out on saturday!

It was a great surprise, I thought I wouldn’t hear back til mid may at the earliest.

I’m currently in as a chemistry major but I’m gonna do my best to transfer.

Congrats, matsum91!

That’s great news. I was very surprised when you said you had been waitlisted.

Congrats!!! My little brother got waitlisted as well (I have NO idea how, he has great stats)… I just had a quick question for you! Did you change your major on AIS to Chemistry, or did you leave it as is?

thanks everybody!

&AggieSister

Thanks. This has been a weird year for admissions, but I hope your brother gets in!

I never actively changed my intended major. Originally it showed Petroleum engineering as my first choice and chemistry as my second, but about two weeks ago, I checked and it had switched to 1st and 2nd choice chemistry. I’m assuming this is because petroleum engineering no longer has any openings.

ah congratulations!! You’re an incoming freshman right? I didn’t know they sent out waitlist acceptances before May 1…djgskldgjl waiting is terrible.

yeah I’m an incoming freshman. I was really surprised I heard back this early.

Did your AIS change or anything or was it only through mail?

Cool hopefully i get in off the waitlist too

yea how did it let you know

My AIS changed. It gave me a Step 6 that allowed me to respond to my waitlist decision.

And it came in the mail as well a few days later.

you were probably at the top of the waitlist (or ranked high , however they do it)

does anyone know how many people are selected for blinn team?

Around 500 students are selected for Blinn Team.

800 are offered blinn team, they expect around 500 to accept
