When does aid get disbursed?

That’s the rate for 1 quarter of res hall housing in a doubles room in addition to the cost of the dining card plan. Did you sign up for housing when you applied?

Add that to the ~4700$ in tuition and campus fees for this quarter, and you get around ~8200$ for quarterly fees, which is well under 9000$.

If you’re a freshman, and you applied for the FAFSA by March 2nd + completed your cal grant verification, you should have gotten your award letter around June, I think.

Your aid gets disbursed to your account after you sign up for classes. Disbursement usually starts around September. Then the remainder gets deposited into your bank account for books/transportation/etc.

As a sidenote, you can sign up for TRIP (Triton Registration Installment Plan) on Tritonlink to defer your quarterly tuition fees into monthly payments.

Also, there is something called the [Blue and Gold Plan](http://www.universityofcalifornia.edu/admissions/paying-for-uc/financial-aid/grants/blue-gold/index.html) that will cover the rest of your fees if you qualify.
