When does EA get notified?

Do they typically release the acceptances sooner or all at once in February? Thanks!

According to the web site, EA notifications will be transmitted by Dec. 20th.

As I recall, EA acceptances have come a couple of days before that projection in the past couple of years.

I remember getting my EA acceptance before Christmas… I think it was Dec 15ish. I could see the decision online before getting the mail acceptance. I got an email about financial aid that made it sound like I had been excepted so I checked my online Nova account and it confirmed my acceptance.

last year my son was notified on December 18

It’s also interesting to note that last year all 50 of the chem engineering seats were filled by EA applicants.

That may not be correct , there was thread on this forum last April from a Regular Decision parent choosing between Nova & Lehigh ChemE. (ended up choosing Lehigh).
That being said ChemE is very competitive.

My son, who applied EA, just received an email from Villanova this morning advising about financial aid. I have to believe this means he has been accepted admission.

My daughter also got this email. Did anybody else?

I got it too and I’m applying ED so I don’t think it means we got accepted ( I wish tho )

Got the same email and thought the same thing.

I sure hope that email means I got in!

S2 received that same email, and the wording leads me to believe it was sent to all EA applicants. “The Villanova University Office of Admission has advised me of your interest in Villanova University.”

I got that email too, unfortunately I think it was an automatic one sent to all EA applicants.

Well did anyone not get that email?

Everyone get the financial assistance email. Good luck!

I toured Villanova last Friday and the admissions committee said they are planning to release decisions by email on December 18th

My son did not get the financial aid email. He is applying EA, but we are not applying for aid . . .so maybe that’s why? Not sure.

does anyone know where on the mynova page it’ll show the decision? personal announcements?

I’m not applying for aid either and I still got the email. I think all applicants were supposed to get it.

Hey all,

I am a freshman. Good luck to all who applied!

First, all applicants should get the financial aid email whether they are applying for aid or not.

Second, as soon as you log in to your myNOVA, there will be a window that pops up. If you’ve been accepted, it will be a “congrats” video. That’s what happened for me.

Hope this helps!
