When does ED come out?

Is the ED notification for Pomona mailed or online? When they say Dec 15th, is it that you get it by the 15th, or that it's mailed? I live in CA, is it likely that I would get the letter earlier? (Just a bit nervous =D )

ED notification will be sent by mail. Acceptances are sent priority mail in a large envelope. Knowing that applicants can get anxious about the results, the Admissions Office does its best to get all the envelopes in the mail earlier rather than later. Since you're in CA, you may receive your notification as early as December 10 or so.

Good luck!

Ahh! I'm so nervous too. I live all the way on the east coast though so I probably won't hear until later that week :-/

When D received her letter a couple of years ago, it arrived on the 13th.

The worst part about not getting in would be having to write so many more dern essays

^ agreed... I've started some of them but I shudder to think about winter break if I don't get in. shudder

Yeah. I have started my essays for other schools, yet I have little motivation these days. I really hope I get in... one, because I love it there and two, because I would have a terrible winter break.

I'm from San Francisco and I got my ED two days before I was told to expect it - other kids on the East Coast got it on or after the arrival date - Pomona mails stuff and Pomona mails it slow. Good luck with the essays (I wrote mine but ED acceptance saved me from filling out seven applications - I hate non-common App schools)

anyone else starting to get nervous...? December 15th is getting awfully close...!

haha, yeah. because I'm an international and the deadline for international students is december 15th. not fair!

This week could possibly be the longest week of my life... good luck to everyone!
