^kaplac Congratulations on being accepted to materials Engr. My son was accpeted into the same major. It is a small program there, so they will likely get to know each other. he is looking at other schools too, but Cal Poly is looking like a first choice. We have visited several times and we really like it there. have you had a chance to visit?
Where are you from? You can send me a private message if you have any questions about the campus that i might now from visiting. Again, congratulations!

Im also waitin for a response for EE. My GPA is low…3.21 CSU GPA, 3.1/4.1 according to my high school. 1340 SAT CR+Math. 7 AP Courses (including Physics, Calculus, and Statistics) and 3 courses at the University of Nevada, Reno, including Calculus 2 and English 2 and recieved A’s in both.
another prospective EE here, coming to join the party
3.86 GPA
32 ACT

JeremyKilohana - My son got in as a Comp Sci major last year with a 2.9 CSU GPA 1450 SAT CR+Math and 7 AP courses (passed all of them with a 3 or better). He is doing very well at SLO, probably because he used to a rigorous schedule. Your stats are very similar but choice of major makes a difference.
