<p>The 2012-13 Common App will launch on August 1. You are welcome to create an account before then so you can take the app for a test drive. Just realize that all 2011-12 accounts will be deleted when the system shuts down on July 15. Also, the essay topics are not changing for next year, so you can get a head start on those whenever you’d like.</p>
<p>when you say essays you mean the main common app essay right? the supplemental ones will most likely change?</p>
<p>The main application essays will not change. The supplement essays may or may not. That’s up to the individual colleges, many of which have not yet made that decision.</p>
