<p>Classes always begin the first Tueday of September (the day after Labor Day) and Freshmen usually move in a week before that date.</p>
<p>i noticed winter term gets over around april 29th. is that when most people leave? or do the also do the half spring term?</p>
<p>Most leave, but some do stay for the spring term. Others spend the summer in Ann Arbor, which I am thinking about doing next year. This year, I guess that I'm going home.</p>
<p>FordGT, roughly 40% of Michigan students take a Spring/Summer class. The remaining 60% usually go home or get a summer job/internship.</p>
