<p>I'm asking this on behalf of a high school junior friend of mine. He'd like to apply as soon as possible, so I'm wondering when Penn State will start accepting applications for 2012. I can only find the deadline online.</p>

<p>Also tell him there really is no rush. HS is a f**kin blast. No point on praying for it to finish. That’s what senior year is for.</p>
<p>While this student obviously has some time to kill - in reality, there “is” a rush. PSU makes it very clear that applying early is a big advantage, especially if you are borderline.</p>
