<p>I’m not classified as a freshman but sure do feel like one since this will be the first semester ill be transferring out from cc to a university and living away from home!!!</p>
<p>i move in on the saturday before classes start, aug 22. Aug 24 classes start for those who don’t have a Sa class.</p>

<p>Wow, some of you are moving in really late! I’m a freshman, but I move in only 1 day before returning students…we have summer orientation though (all of the sessions are done, the last was 2 weeks ago), so I’m sure that makes a difference.</p>

<p>yeah i’m off to the University of Washington… we’re on the quarter system if that makes any difference for starting times. I think i’d much rather start sooner.</p>
<p>September 17 is my orientation. Move in day is 16th. Orientation will last two days, then welcome week. September 21 is when school starts. Wooo!</p>

<p>move-in starts sep 18 and fall classes start the 21st =] Freshman year.</p>
<p>all the schools on the quarter system start near the end of September. UCLA, UCSD, Caltech all have almost identical schedules.</p>

so pumped!</p>

<p>Freshman at my school go to orientation during June, so there’s not the extra time after we move in to have orientation like other schools. We move in one day, returning students the next, and classes start the day after that.</p>
