I shouldn't be dwelling this much about it. It'll be over soon, anyway.

it's so strange to think that in a week it'll basically all be over. after all this time... wow

^I agree.

So Rice never even sent emails to those denied? That's sad...

Rice did send emails to denied people, including me :(

Not to offend everyone, but why is everyone talking about Rice in the Stanford forum?

because they just released decisions.

a similar thing happened after MIT released theres.

relax...it's not like we have much more to say on the subject of Stanford's regular decision date...

^Lol. Sorry for starting the Rice thing...?

I guess RIce is not prestigious enough for you rofl

*theirs.

I'm dumb.

i agree with harvard..talk about rice on the rice boards..this is the stanford thread..lets the stanford heads have something for themselves.

The whole "congratulations" thing is freaking me out too now >.>
I use my iPod to check e-mail constantly, even at school (lulz free wifi), and I just changed my view settings so it doesn't show a preview of the e-mail before I open it.

crosses fingers

^It's not a part of the preview, the subject title reads "Congratulations on your admission...." :(

blueducky, are you talking about stanford email? D:

i removed the snipped thing from my gmail for the time being too :(

Oh, what difference does it make?

You'll find out eventually.

Everyone feels anxious right now, so everyone's worrying about everything pertaining to Stanford. It's understandable. All we can do is wait.

No, I'm talking about Rice haha

I wish it were Stanford

^Don't scare me like that :P
I just want to open the e-mail and close my eyes until the poor fool next to me looks at it first :D

^^rofl. do that in the public place, like the library!!!! then once you got in, you can hug and kiss him!! if you're rejected, you're going to bash him. eiither way, ppl gunna think ur crazy in the library.

^No, i'm saying that Stanford could do the same thing Rice did, which would mean that you wouldn't even need to open the email itself.

Hahah but if it did that, then there wouldn't be a tense moment where you click the email and wait! I think the waiting will be fun except if it's rejection ):

^Which is why i'm scared. I wish Stanford would just say WHICH day they're going to release it. I check my email several times a day, so i don't want to just log in and see "Sorry..."
