Is it the same date for every school? I'm specifically looking for Georgia tech's.

Each school is different. After all, the difference is small from year to year.

GT’s 2012 CDS is available. This is their most recent set. It appears to have been finalized in May 2013.

[Common Data Set - Georgia Tech | Institutional Research and Planning](http://www.irp.gatech.edu/publications/common-data-set/)

Does the 2012 common data set take into account the scores of high school class of 2012 or 2013?

It was completed in May of 2013. No one in the class of 2013 had graduated yet. Again, any diff btn 2012 and 2013 will be minimal. Whatever use you hope to gain will be found in the 2012 numbers. you’re hoping to mine the data to give you what? What will a discreet 1-2% diff in some stat mean to your GT application? Really

You don’t understand. Every year for the last decade other than 2013 the admission rate was around 55%. Last year it fell to 40% out of nowhere and this year is the first year they went to the common app and they got a 33% increase in ea applicants this year from last. The 2012 class very likely has a significantly lower sat and GPA average than 2013.

From the 2012-13 CDS:

8,045 accepted
14,645 applicants
= 54.9% acceptance rate

P.S. The CDS cannot be calculated until after all admissions decisions are made for the cycle (including the WL), so stats for the 2013-14 cycle won’t be available until next summer at the earliest.

No those are the numbers for the 2012 - 2013 college freshmen ie the hs class of 2012. You’ll see it be described that way later in the report.

I’m not sure I understand why as a sr you’re interested in the CDS, which is obviously always delayed. GT seems to have the most recent data on their website, what more are you looking for on the CDS?

UW GPA because they aren’t using their weighted system anymore. Also I want to see specific sections for the sat because writing is my best score which probably isn’t a good thing.
I didn’t know that they wouldnt have it until May but that was the question in itself.
