When does the composite score come out for the ACT Test on June 12th? Some people are saying in two weeks but I'm not sure on anything.

Most people should have theirs posted on the 28th.

Is there a specific time it comes out?

I believe 1 AM ET/12 AM CT.

June 28th at 1 AM

^All above are correct.

Could someone who has taken the test before tell me how exactly they present our scores? Is it literally our subscore on each test and our composite, or is there more to it (percentiles, etc)?

This may be a very stupid question, as I am an SAT veteran who has just started studying for the ACT, but I’m going to ask it anyway. So when you mean that the “composite” scores are coming out on the 28th, does that include the writing score?

Also, will I be able to send the scores to colleges the day scores come in (obviously, not June 28th, but I plan on taking the September administration), or do I have to wait till I get a copy in the mail?
Thanks in advanced!

^ Does not include writing score. That comes in about two weeks after the composite.

No. You will need to wait until the writing score comes in before you can send scores.

Actually, I always seem to get my writing score the day that I receive my composite and respective subscores. So I think when they say that they’re just trying to be safe in their estimates, but more likely than not you’ll get your writing score the same day.

I think most people will get thier writing score at the same time as their composite score (online)

When the scores come out online they include all the information that you will get in the mail - subscores as well as the composite. The writing score usually comes out at the same time - unless you changed your registration from “without writing” to “with writing”; in my experience changes after initial registration hold up scores.

NewAccount - your score sheet looks like this:

<a href=“ACT Test Scores | ACT Scoring | ACT”>ACT Test Scores | ACT Scoring | ACT;

Never mind it was and outdated link, but if you dig around enough on the ACT website you should be able to find a sample.

It shows a composite score and then one for each subject.

[ACT Sample Student Report](<a href=“ACT Test Scores | ACT Scoring | ACT”>ACT Test Scores | ACT Scoring | ACT)

this link works

Here, I just decided to take a picture of my scores to show exactly what you see when you log in and click view scores:

The percentages are in the national rankings near the bottom.

*the link that TFA posted above shows what you receive in the mail approximately two weeks after you get your online scores.

Thank you alihaq! That is exactly what I was looking for.

Pshh I want your score haha.

r0kAng3l don’t stress so much, you may have done very well on the June ACT and even if you didn’t you still have all summer to study. A 33 is easily attainable if you put your mind to it.

how many questions do you think you can get wrong in the whole test for a 33?

I hope! I am very good at school, but I cannot take a standardized test! My pretests can get up to my ideal scores for the SAT but once I take the real SAT, I do reallllly bad! Like 300-400 points below my pretests!!! I just can’t take a standardized test. My ACT pretests were pretty good. I’m just scared for the CR because that is always my worst score. I’ve always struggled with it even as a child. My highest is always science or math (yet on the PLAN my highest score was reading-24 and lowest was math haha that was 2 years ago, though). So, let’s just hope I did good! I felt confident, except for CR, just hope my science and math score made up for it my normal English score was usually a 27… So hopefully I got that or better. I’m seriously so nervous, you don’t even know. After seeing my SAT score I almost quit everything I’ve been trying to accomplish. I hate that these tests determine my acceptance (or have a high % on acceptance). I know the stuff, Im just not a test taker… So unfair :(
