I still haven't received my email, and it's not as if my materials were incomplete. My Harvard account told me that all materials were successfully received. Anyway, I've resigned myself to being part of that unlucky few whose emails were lost in the jungle of cyberspace, so unfortunately, I have to do the primitive and quaint thing of waiting for my letter through mail. I was wondering how long after the emails they usually come.

You don't feel like getting the decision over the phone?

Sent out Thursday, expect them Saturday-Tuesday.

Exactly, precisely.

Do they send the letter to your "mailing address" or the "permanent home address" (as indicated on the application)?

As I am home for the holidays, I hope they send it to my permanent address... it seems the schools that I sent the common app have been using one or the other randomly.

On the Common App, they ask you for your home address, and if your mail address is different, you put another one down below.

So, has anybody gotten any mail from Harvard yet?

I got it today.

I got it Saturday. (I live in PA)

Got it! I'm framing it. LOL

It's a deferral, but I'm still proud of it in a strange way.

Oh come on, you can at least wait until a firm decision to frame it :p

lol my friend's mother is making her apply to Harvard just so she can frame the rejection letter, it's horrible...

That is horrible! In a funny sort of way.

I got mine Friday or Saturday.

got it today, along with the letter saying ill receive nary a cent of grant assistance :/

At least you got in ;) hehe

LOL. I was deferred from the greatest institution in the world (in lists, at least) with dismal scores. That's an accomplishment for me, LOL. That's a big accomplishment from my school even.

I got the letter today. I'm very pleased with the financial aid. I was happier after getting that estimate than I was after opening the acceptance email.

Hmm, I still haven't gotten my letter. I live in western Canada, so that may slow things down a bit.

Did anyone get their letters in California yet? I want mine!

I got mine yesterday and I'm northern cali (bay area). I'm sure it's coming, so don't worry!

Yeah, my parents were ecstatic about the financial aid. My dad has barely been able to sleep over the course of the last week.
