<p>If you're talking about forms that you send to each college by snail mail (like teacher recs, transcripts, school report, etc), you won't see an update on the Common App site. </p>
<p>Some colleges have a link for you to check the status & receipt of your application materials. Their website should tell you whether they have such a system.</p>
<p>Some colleges don't have a system but may send you a postcard saying "Your application is complete."</p>
<p>Some will only tell you if something is missing.</p>
<p>And some don't say anything at all.</p>
