When does UCSB usually grant/deny appeals?

I sent in my appeals packet on April 14th and UCSB has already received it. I've been checking every day for like the past week but the decision is still pending. Now, I already committed to Davis but I still would like to go to SB. I read though that decisions aren't released until June though. Is this true? And what would you say are my chances if I haven't been denied yet? (one of my friends already had his appeal denied). Anyone who got in on appeal in past years who could provide some info? thanks

same with me…waiting still pending and a bunch of my friends have already had their appeals denied.

i sent mine in late march. still haven’t heard back yet…i’m assuming we will all hear next week or so.

we better not have to wait until june. thats too far away.

my counsellor says its usually around june…damn

if its june then why have some people already heard back

nah…i called we’ll hear sometime this week

Good luck to y’all!

still waiting…

^Wow! Really!?
That would be killing me. Power to ya!

Good luck, though!

we’ll hear by friday…or monday at the latest

Im still waiting, losing sleep over it… anyone got accepted through an appeal?

mike - I only have one friend who didn’t get into UCSB and he appealed and was accepted 2 days ago. I think he said he received an email but im not positive.

yea i called today and they said next week

^ omg that is so nerve racking T_T I remember waiting all week for my letters and I think I had atleast 5 panic attacks.

Mine is still pending too…At least I didn’t get rejected yet! Good luck everyone

still pending.
i hope they send email notices.

finally denied. oh well going to uc davis now for sure.

davis isnt bad u got nothing to be ashamed of

Ya, I’m not too worried bout it. Had a friend who’s going to SB who I wanted to room with, and I don’t know anyone going to Davis. Might be better for me to meet new people though.

Don’t feel bad if your appeal wasn’t granted. Just got an email from Betty Huff, the assistant vice chancellor for student affairs, and she said “UCSB is so overenrolled that we were unable to take any appeals this year”. =[
