<p>The USConnect and the link isn’t gonna be down for more than a day. Maybe even by tonight they’ll be back up again. People who get the package tomorrow are gonna need to be able to log in after all…</p>

<p>looks like the backdoor link is effectively disabled, which I feared would happen the second someone went and bumped that “backdoor link explanation” thread. At least the link discussion was effectively buried in this thread.</p>
<p>Back to the old fashioned mailbox method, guys. Unless some of you report seeing extra boxes on your USConnect when it’s back up (prior to getting packets). I do recall that happening last year as well.</p>
<p>but dont they have to reactivate the link by tomorrow so accepted students can begin to pay deposits and sign up for explore days? and when will the usc connect website be working again??</p>

<p>Good! Another package is going to an international student. Remember CC only has a tiny fraction of those who applied to SC from abroad. Many DHL notices may be received, but these students are not on this board.</p>
<p>Tomorrow we should hear from students in the zip codes close to USC in Los Angeles.</p>

<p>if you get deffered until the spring semester do you still get a big “welcome to the trojan family” packet or is it a regular sized envelope?</p>
<p>tabla, that link provided direct access to the deposit form, EVEN IF the student did not yet have the box on their USConnect (it was emailed to accepted applicants after some were having trouble getting to the deposit box via USConnect.) I don’t know for sure, but my guess is they’re going back to the USConnect access only… for now. Which means you wait until you have the box.</p>
<p>So, USConnect will have to be back up, and yes, the enrollment box will eventually appear in there. But as for getting to it before it appears in your USConnect, that option is what they’re taking away now.</p>
<p>@Petaweda, ahh… I feel your pain, what’s even more painful for me is that I’m an in state and I expected to at least get into UCSD… maybe I was too conceited to think so… now I’m praying to get into USC and I do pray for all the others in this thread to get in as well.</p>

<p>I live in South Korea, and got DHL Shipment notification 20minutes ago.Hope this means acceptance…fingers crossed for all of you guys.</p>
<p>Either this means that USC is still sending out applications currently (it is 4:33 PST) or DHL is so overloaded with shipments that they are still sending emails from earlier. </p>
