@rbooker it seems that everyone can register for housing so far, no clear indication of admission

poop. alright thanks haha

what do “wait list” envelopes look like?

im trying to see if debbi can do the housing app. because if debbi cant that means people who can probably got accepted

What five boxes are you all seeing? I remember only 4 before my son got in. The two new ones were the Enrollment Commitment Deposit and RSVP for Admitted Student Programs.

@ibmx92 thank you!

@NC mom we’re talking about the ones when you first log into usconnect and click admissions up near the top

There’s one for Twitter to follow USC Admissions -.-

@mtpaper USC does not maintain a waitlist. The closest option is spring admit, and those packages are allegedly identical to regular admit packages.

@NC Mom my USConnect has the undergrad app, admissions documents, midyear grades, USConnect profile and the Twitter box

Has anyone in the Bay Area received an envelope yet?!

@ mantistoboggan
no but i normally don’t get mail around 3 or 4 though

I live in the Bay Area; I did not receive anything from USC. :(

Yes, so when my son was admitted in January, before we got the BIG package, when we clicked on the Admissions tab, two new boxes appeared (the ones I listed before). Before that he had 4 boxes, Undergraduate Application, Admission Documents, Follow Us on Twitter, and USConnect Profile. We were able to tell by the two new boxes that he was accepted and was up for the Presdiential Scholarship (By trying to RSVP for the Presdientail Explore) days before he actually got that BIG packet. So I guess I am confused by the 5 boxes you all see when you click on the Admissions tab.

Nevermind, just saw a new post stating that it was Midyear Grades. We don’t have that one since he was admitted prior to this request. Sorry! Was hoping the “backdoor” would work for you all. By all means, someone open that package and see what it says about accepting the admission!

@NC Mom: Maybe that’s why USC connect was down yesterday…they didn’t want people seeing those boxes ;)

Just got off the phone with S2. He wants to open the package himself. I totally understand, but…ARG. Sorry, no extra info from us yet.

It seems like those boxes should be visible now though to those getting acceptance packages! Mad bean, I understand too, but I didn’t give my son that option! He is away at a residential school though, so I had a good excuse!

We are super curious about the major–so that is the big question. He applied to 2 different schools and tick tock I will just have to wait it out. :)

Well be sure to let us know as soon as you find out Madbean! I hope it is his first choice!

Sorry for entering the conversation late, i have been following for a while from maine. i heard of this site as another backdoor… when i enter my id and birthdate says i am not authorized- does it do that for those of you who are accepted as well? or is this a bad sign?

(sometime it says The system is experiencing a technical issue, this function is temporarily unavailable. Please try again or contact us . Error code:SS1)… but other times it gives you a login page…

Has anyone here tried to make a USC Housing account, but you were unsuccessful in doing so?

I was able to make one just now. So, I’m really hoping that this is an indicator of admission! :D
