Looking at the archives from last year, people from CC started getting off the waitlist on May 11. They said they got emails asking if they were still interested in Penn, and then got Fedex packages a few days later. It seemed like quite a few people got in from CC - a good sign?

Hehe. They always ask if you're still interested.

has anyone heard from penn yet?

wait another week or so....

i heard back, and was accepted into Wharton. It's quite surreal, from basically rejected to accepted, crazy. Ugh, now I'm going to be deliberating again. I enrolled at Columbia, but admittance to Wharton is a huge curveball, because both have big pros and some cons

What are some cons of Wharton that you're debating against? Perhaps I can help you out.

are most of your academics taken up the wharton core? or do you still find ample time to take electives?

other than that, its sort of an issue of "do i wanna do business?" but i think that question was answered when i realized that fields to explore are not limited to purely finance and such. I'm thinking maybe I'll look into BPP, or Marketing and Communication

did anyone hear from the SEAS yet or is it only wharton?

my friend just got into Wharton off the waitlist yesterday. completely unexpected and im really excited for her she will be yall's classmate next year =P

How does one find out about the acceptance at wharton once waitlisted, considering im an international student...?

There are around 10 humanities/electives included in the 37 credit requirement.

Any waitlistees heard from the College or know if Penn is going to the waitlist at all?

i already did another post for this, but does anyone know the housing situation for us waitlisters? There's a residential program that I really wanna enter, and its also on the Quad, so I hope that like waitlisters arent crammed into some corner of the university

quad is full after 3rd round for may first batch I think

Waitlisters get the short end of the stick unfortunately.

This question may have become a cliche by now, but has anyone who applied to the College heard about waitlist decisions?

i heard today

How did they contact you? Do you get calls?

how many people were taken off the waitlist last year? how many do we think will be taken off this year?
