<p>DS will be home at 5 p.m. June 6, but who’s counting? 
Right now, looks he’ll have three weeks off, then go to his camp job for a month, then home and working a 2nd job for a month.</p>
<p>DS got home 5 hours ago! He’s been asleep for 4 1/2.</p>
<p>S2 finished exams on Thurs. and arrived at home today. He will be with us for a few days to a week before heading back to college for summer school and to hunt for a job.</p>
<p>Mine has final exams second week of June.
Then she has some time off ( although she lives off campus), before she goes out of the country on Fathers Day-returns early August. Her school wont start till late Sept & I think she is working August.</p>
<p>DS3 comes home this week. Glad exams will be over and he’ll be home because looking for a summer job hasn’t happened. DS2 comes home mid June. He’s better about looking for a job, but hasn’t found anything yet either. As much as I love them, I’d prefer they found a job/internship somewhere and started to grow up.</p>
<p>Blessing/curse</p>
<p>Blessing: Son arranged internships for 3 summers.</p>
<p>Curse: After Freshman year, he lived at home but had a 60 minute commute to his first internship, so was gone or was sleeping most of the time. Next 2 summers, he lived out of state.</p>
<p>Blessing: one of the internships resulted in the job offer he accepted.</p>
<p>Sort of curse (because I never expected that he would work in our depressed state): He now lives and works 9 hours away.</p>
<p>Mine has been home for a week today, and she will start her internship in about two weeks. Hurray–that she has an internship.</p>
<p>Brought mine home this afternoon. She will go back on Monday evening, spend the night, and take her last 2 finals on Tuesday. (Her school is about 75 miles from home.)</p>
<p>My D graduates next Sat. her boyfriend plans to propose to her the following day. They each received full rides at UOP starting in mid-August. He asked me for her hand in marriage Easter Sunday. His plan is a two year engagement.</p>
<p>DD2 has been home from Lewis & Clark for two days. DD1 graduates next Sunday (yay). Both are still working on plans for the summer…</p>
<p>My son is studying abroad in New Zealand. He won’t be home until the end of June. Then back to UMD in August for his senior year. Where did the time go???</p>
<p>D’s flight lands in 2 hours. She has jury duty on Monday morning.</p>
