<p>I totally agree with that one. You would think this site would help me. But, no it actually made me more obsessed about grades and stuff. I became a CC addict during freshman year (i m a rising sophomore). I went into it thinking my almost 5.0 gpa from middle school was going to continue on in hs. Boy, was i wrong!
I started to slack off after 1st semester when i saw my smstr grades-4 B+s, 3A's. All due b/c of lousy midterms (right b4 winter break). This site only made me more depressed-seeing all these 4.0's and great test scores. I felt like i already ruined my chances of getting into any college. The thing that hurt the most was that i couldn't do anything about it, b/c it was final, those grades were going to Harvard, or Princeton or whatever college i choose to apply to.
Anyways, my point is to study hard freshmen yr. and dont let anything get u
down. Forget about junior yr, IMO, freshmen yr is the hardest yr of high school. </p>

<p>Sophomore year was a very ... interesting year, lol. The environment wasn't very conducive to learning, haha. Needless to say, a lot of kids were kicked out of school; no one took it seriously.</p>
<p>Your school sounds pretty nice, btw. This year we have artificial lighting and cubicles :) How sweet is that? Lol, I'm joking. I doubt we'll have those kick-butt cubicles.</p>

<p>To all the people who go back in August, when do you get out of school? It'd have to be earlier then, say, my school. I go in September 5th and get out mid-June (like the 14th or 15th).</p>
<p>My school starts August 14th, but it's over May 22nd (for everyone, not just seniors), so I guess it's a fair trade.</p>
<p>Mine starts September 14th! Pretty late compared to most schools in the area.</p>
<p>August 28th blah it feels like summer will be over in no time.</p>
