My son is a rising high school senior, and is currently sending in college applications. He currently has a ACT of 28, but is retaking the test in hopes of improving that score in Sept, and then again in Oct. He has a high school GPA of 4.03. Do we go ahead and send in the 28, and if he scores higher, do we send that in as well? Need to do what is best to get as much scholarship money as he can. Any info appreciated!!!

Wait, he might get a better score. I don’t know how much money you can get for a 28. It depends on what college you are looking at.

better to wait for the higher score.

depends on where he is applying. many schools say go ahead and apply and they will ajust your scholarship up if you raise your score. if they don’t specify, it might be best to wait. or you can ask some of the school you are interested in and see what the say about it.

my dd is in the same boat. : /
