When has Virginia Tech sent out Early Decision Notifications?

<p>I have heard that Virginia Tech usually sends out emails telling us to check our application status because they have their decisions posted online before the december 15 2010 deadline. I was wondering what the date has been for all you accepted applicants (preferably in the engineering depts)
ps. Is it true that tech takes the best of the act english and math and convert them to sat and essentially super score to get the best possible score??
For example: a 30 on ACT Math opposed to a 610 SAT Math and a 25 ACT English opposed to a 600 Critical reading.</p>
