When/How do you begin receiving acceptances/rejections?

<p>I have just applied to 6 schools regular decision (none are safety schools). On college board it says that the deadline for colleges to notify you of acceptance or rejection is at the beginning of April, but does this mean that it can come any time between now and then, or does it mean that they all arrive on that day?</p>

<p>Also I do not know how interviews fit into all of this- do they happen between now and April? Do all colleges have them?</p>

<p>These questions may seem really stupid but my school is foreign and useless about American universities.</p>

<p>They should come around March & the beginning of April.</p>

<p>RD interviews generally take place December-February. Most schools don't require them, but it can't hurt to have one (unless you suck at interviews) if the opportunity presents itself.</p>
