When/how do you find out if you won any scholarships for UCLA/UCSD/Cal?

when/if u get accepted

Speaking of being accepted does anyone know how Cal is going to do it so that the system isn’t extremely overloaded? I’m sure I’m as anxious as everyone else and I feel like I might get an anxiety attack if I have to sit at my comp for 2 hours trying to log in. (Was anyone else there with me freaking out while you tried to apply right before apps were due?)

lol- YES. I had finished and uploaded everything 2 weeks before that, but time just got away from me. I had no idea that paying for your apps and the signature process would take so long. At one point, I made it to the page right before the end, and it signed me out for the 200th time. I almost cried, but the persistence paid off in the end. That’ll teach me!

And yeah, I’ve been wondering the EXACT same thing- how do they keep the system from being overloaded??

you won’t experience any problems getting ur decisions. all u have to do is sign into myberkeleyapp and get ur decisions. it’s completely different than the problems faced on november 30th, when BOTH transfers AND freshman were uploading their applications for ALL the UCs.

on april 30th, or may 1st (depending on which school u applied to; L&S or engineering or haas etc.), only transfer students will be on the site. and only BERKELEY students. and only PEOPLE WHO ACTUALY CARE to check it at the EXACT moment decisions are uploaded. i’d say that the majority of people (people who are NOT on this site) will just wait until AFTER april 30th to check their decisions
