When/How will I get an interview ?

Over the weekend, I applied to Princeton and I was wondering if I should do something to initiate an interview. Please advise.

same process as your Yale app

and what is that?

If you come from a region where there are enough alumni volunteers, you might get a spot offered. He/She will contact you to arrange it – you don’t do anything. However, in recent years, apps outnumber volunteers. You may never get offered an interview. But it’s not inimical to your overall application or chances if you don’t get interviewed.

It’s completely random, no pre-sorting of applicants, not a sign of your strength/weakness. All serendipity.
