When I see somebody wearing USC merchandise......

<p>.....my heart begins to beat rapidly. I don't mean to, but I can't help but stare with such respect, envy and pride. HOW I DREAM, WISH, AND YEARN TO WEAR USC SWEATERS, SHIRTS, HATS AND TO BE A MIGHTY, POWRFUL TROJAN!
Let's be honest here....my stats aren't that great. But do I have a chance at going to the perfect school for me? Should I keep polishing the sword that will help conquer all my usc classes? or should I face reality and put away my plastic shield and helmet into my closet? Please help me! Chance me !</p>

<p>GPA: 3.7 unweighted
SAT: 2000
Bio: 750 Lit: 730 Math IIC: 650
(all sat's will be taken later in the fall...these scores are worst case scenario scores....hopefully, and with fall senior year gpa hopefully my gpa will go up also)</p>

<p>EC's
-drum major of marching band (basically leader)
-asb for two years (Sophomore President and FIne arts Commissioner)
-French horn (first chair bunch of music classes)
-President of Habitat for Humanity
-Soccer two years (FS + JV)
-Swim four years (JV)
-Student Forum and Class Council
-Help doing sociology research for Cal State Long Beach
-blah blah blah blah blah</p>

<p>I know this all seems pretty weak, but for your sake i soaked up the smaller stuff to leave all the bigger ones for you to see. there are other factors like my essays (which i think can be really strong and could show them personality) and other small ec's that i didn't mention. thank you so much for your time!!!! TROJANS FIGHT ON</p>

<p>slight reach. gpa and test scores are slightly below average. EC's look good. don't slack off your first semester of your senior year because they will probably ask for your mid-year grades, and it could help your GPA. try to push for an SAT of at least 2100 (they superscore so you can take it multiple times). try to get good recs. if you do that your chances will look good. hope you will be joining the trojan family</p>

<p>Your best feature is your passion. I honestly think you have a good chance and a lot will depend on the school to which you are applying. Your scores are not bad at all. If I made a bet, I'd say you're in- especially CLAS (College of Letters, Arts, and Sciences.)</p>

<p>I got into usc with a lower SAT. No merit money but into two honors programs. Try taking the ACT too. It can't hurt.</p>
