I thought that teachers slept in the teacher's lounge
I thought that libraries made all their money off of fines
I thought that if you stayed up past 10 it was VERY bad for your health
I though the fax machine sent the actual paper through

i can't think of anymore right now, but add your own.

I know. I was a relatively smart child too. :(

And I think my library may have been able to survive off of just money from fines. You would not believe how much money my mom used to owe in late fees. I think once her bill was around $150. Multiple times it was in the $20 - $50 range. (She would bring my brother and I to the library about twice a week and we would always take out a ton of books, often 50, which was the maximum. So you can imagine how many got lost or forgotten about xD)

That all of the food you ate went into your stomach where ittybitty people were mixing it together and making a big ol’ birthday cake for who knows what and eventually I’d see the cake when it got big enough.

This was when I was 3.

I thought that by mixing water and perfume in an Expo spray bottle I could use that to get stains out of clothing and sell it to make millions.

That was around age 6.

That I could speak Spanish by making random noises.

Age 4-ish.

For being a smart kid, I had the strangest notions.
