When I was little I used to think...

When I was little I used to think

I thought that teachers slept in the teacher's lounge
I thought that libraries made all their money off of fines
I thought that if you stayed up past 10 it was VERY bad for your health
I though the fax machine sent the actual paper through

i can't think of anymore right now, but add your own.

100 was a really big number

All the songs on the radio were performed in the studio.

The entire world was in black and white until color TV came along.

omg… I can’t believe you thought the black and white thing…

Ok, but my library thing is really stupid too.

That cartoons were real people who lived in the television box.

I know. I was a relatively smart child too. :(

And I think my library may have been able to survive off of just money from fines. :stuck_out_tongue: You would not believe how much money my mom used to owe in late fees. I think once her bill was around $150. Multiple times it was in the $20 - $50 range. (She would bring my brother and I to the library about twice a week and we would always take out a ton of books, often 50, which was the maximum. So you can imagine how many got lost or forgotten about xD)

that movies [cartoons] had to be voiced every time i watched them

I thought Rocket Power was filmed in my town (i lived in miami at the time) haha

That the roof of your mouth opens up if you push your tongue against it.

I felt something, so I thought it was the inside of the roof of my mouth. It was really just my tongue reaching back and touching itself.

Blue from Blues Clues was a boy XD

That straight As got you into Harvard.

I thought that if I accidentally swallowed a seed that it would grow to be a plant inside my stomach.

That life had meaning.

School is all fun and games…

That everyone with the same last name was related

^^^ hahaa agreed ! :p

That all of the food you ate went into your stomach where ittybitty people were mixing it together and making a big ol’ birthday cake for who knows what and eventually I’d see the cake when it got big enough.

This was when I was 3.

I thought that by mixing water and perfume in an Expo spray bottle I could use that to get stains out of clothing and sell it to make millions.

That was around age 6.

That I could speak Spanish by making random noises.

Age 4-ish.

For being a smart kid, I had the strangest notions.

Shh I still believe that

^^^^ Well that’s true to some extent…
