Hi guys, the common app has just been opened so I began adding school to my "my colleges" list that I plan on applying to. Anyway, I was wondering when you think the best time to start the app as a Transfer student is. I know the app for transfers isn't due until like march. In this case is there such a thing as starting too early? I have some ideas in what to write about for the essays but who knows what will happen or change. Maybe something awesome will happen and I'll want to write about that. But at the same time I want to start very early just as a sense of assurance that I'm not behind, and that I'm very prepared. Any and all in put is appreciated. Thanks!

Bump bump bump!

Start now. You’ll be swamped when school starts. At least fill out your extracurricular activities. And it is advisable to start your essays; you can always fine-tune your essays later. What schools are you applying to?

Thank you rain! I think I like that idea and will do at least the extra curriculars. maybe I can start brainstorming ideas for my essays too by jotting down ideas. I’m applying to USC and Cornell for sure so far. I’m still in the process of building a list of schools to apply to so more will be there when it’s all said and done
