<p>When is bright futures going to be applied to the tuition statement. My account states I owe 15 hours worth of credits. I see that I was awarded bright futures! So when will they take that amount off of the tuition I owe! Do I have to do something to get this done?! thanks!</p>

<p>Bright Futures will show up on your financial aid page on secure apps. It will THEN be applied to your account one day after drop add–this term that will be Friday of the first week of classes, and any credit to your account will show up in your Suntrust account (if you linked it) on the following Monday. If you did not open and link a Suntrust account the check will be mailed on that Monday.</p>

<p>The only aid I believe that is actually applied to your account before the end of drop/add is Florida Prepaid. The rest is applied after drop/add, on the 5th day of classes. </p>
<p>Since the 5th day is a Friday, you will see it applied to your account then, but any aid refund won’t go into your account until the next business day, which will be Tuesday September 6th, due to the 5th being Labor Day. </p>
<p>Aside from Sunnyflorida’s link, I also suggest knowing the FSU Academic Calendar for each semester, since it lists these dates as well.</p>
