<p>I thought I had seen August 25th somewhere on the Maryland website but for the life of me I can't find it again. Does anyone know the exact date to move into the dorms?</p>
<p>summer two ends aug 24 so doubt they will let u move in aug 25, need time to clean move etc</p>
<p>classes start wednesday, 8/29... move-in is typically a few days before that, so i'd guess the 26th, but that's a sunday so maybe the 25th is right.</p>
<p>most students taking summer classes do not live in the residence halls; north campus dorms are closed in the summer anyway, and i believe they try to limit people living on-campus to a few certain residence halls. so the end date of summer session has nothing to do with move-in.</p>

<p>Thanks, whiskers. I had heard that College Park Scholars move in earlier than some others and I thought I had seen the date on that website but can't find it now.</p>
<p>yeah, scholars and honors move in earlier, and i'm in honors..so i think i moved in a day before other students</p>
<p>how about marching band people? i know marching band always starts early in the summer.</p>
<p>ivanacuna, early week move-in is usually about 5 days before freshman move-in. you could call the band office and ask, they should know by now.</p>
