<p>Yeah I got a likely letter too! Unfortunately so much is going on April I can't go up for the spring invitational but thankfully I got to go up for explore weekend.</p>

<p>no i don't think so...usually likely letters are sent out to a very small portion of the applicants. </p>
<p>also, the website says March 31st not April 1st.</p>

<p>i just called the admissions office, and they said that decisions are being sent out on wednesday! so we should all be hearing anytime between thursday and next monday. good luck!</p>

<p>I also received a likely letter Friday. I am sooooooo happy, my first acceptance out of eight. I hope there are more to come.</p>

<p>I am new to all this...what exactly does a likely letter say? What is the purpose of a likely letter if acceptances are going out in 7-10 days? What is Admissions trying to achieve? Keep your interest up while you get other responses?

<p>I got the likely letter along with an invitation for the multiculture preview weekend. And I need to reply for that invitation by april 2. So i think conn college is giving me couple more days for planing ahead.</p>
<p>hey i got waitlisted from conn coll so could you guys suggest me anything..i meant what should i do to increase my chances of getting in.. i really do want to go to conn coll. anyways, waitlisted feels good after 5 straight rejections!!!</p>
<p>Send them an email lettting them know it is your first choice..make a deposit soemwhere else as a back-up..and send any additional information which might strengthen your file.</p>
