I know it’s only March 3, but I really want to find out. When are they getting back to us?

I dont know! I thought the guy said the end of February!!!! I was so convinced that it was coming last week, I drove to my moms mailbox and 12:30am just to check if it was there! TWICE! AHHHHHH

iz ded

I believe Sean Kelly sent out an email that said we would not be notified until the end of march.

Really?? We never received an email. Anyone else?

We did receive an email, though, from interim assistant dean for enrollment services shortly after my son's audition thanking him for auditioning and to remind him to fill out his FAFSA. It did say that theatre admission and scholarship decisions would begin the first week of March. It looked like it was a "mass email" not personally to my son.

I received no e-mail of the sort!

My son auditioned at Unifieds in Chicago. Maybe that email was sent to Chicago auditionees? It did mention the level of talent they saw at the auditions.

My daughter didn't get an email either. Hmmmm.

i auditioned at roosevelt on the 16th and got no such email. i'm really curious as to when people are going to hear back

I didn't get that either :/

My D auditioned at the Chicago Unifieds and received the following information via email. Hopefully, this will copy correctly into the message space...

Hello,

Thanks for your recent visit and audition at the Theatre Conservatory, Chicago College of Performing Arts. We were impressed with the high level of talent.

If you havent completed your FAFSA, please do so immediately.

In order to be considered for a scholarship, U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents must file the FAFSA at FAFSA - Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The Roosevelt FAFSA code is 001749. While admission and scholarships are largely based on your audition, we cannot award you any scholarship unless we have your FAFSA result on file. Note that it takes 2-3 weeks for your application to be processed and the information sent to Roosevelt. Theatre admission and scholarship decisions will begin the first week in March so it is important to submit your application NOW.

We are looking forward to further communication with you.

Sincerely,

Jerry Proffit
Interim Assistant Dean for Enrollment and Student Services
Chicago College of Performing Arts
Rooevelt University, 430 South Michigan Ave

Exactly the email we received after the Chicago Unified audition.

So I'm at school and I can see that I have a message in my email from CCPA and it might be an acceptance/rejection letter (probably rejection because I flubbed the audition really bad) but I can't check it because there's an internet blocker

freedom,

I don't know if you will read this soon, but I know I would be dying to find out! There are many proxy sites you can go to where it won't be blocked. ninjaproxy.org, Welcome towww.kproxy.org are my two favorites. :)

The problem is, they creatively blocked the proxy websites :P

I tried that already. I even went through google and clicked on the 1st 14 pages of proxy servers and I got through to 0 of them.

I'll be getting home around 2:40, so I'll let everyone know then

It actually turns out it was just someone giving me my online application checker PIN number.

Hang in there, everyone!

It's sooo hard to wait. I have a friend who auditioned for lighting design at Depaul and we both are going crazy with waiting. CCPA is my first choice.

My son received notice today that he has been waitlisted at CCPA!!

Was he notified by e-mail or US Postal Service?
