When you're ready for it. The date otherwise doesn't matter.

I know none of the tests are supposed to be easier, but there's always a rumor floating around my school that the October SAT is the one to take if you want an advantage. So I took the October and found that the curve was average, not more lenient than usual, but the test was pretty reasonable. For what it's worth, the reasoning behind the idea that the Oct SAT is of benefit is that a lot of seniors who haven't taken their SATs yet (logically typically the ones who are not as on-the-ball) hurry to take them in October, and they are probably a bit weaker overall as SAT takers, so the curve is supposed to be a bit nicer because of that.

Ermm...there might be an easier test date, but I really doubt it. I mean, if there were, someone would probably figure it out, right? And then anyone who wants an advantage (a.k.a., EVERYONE) would take it on that day...making it no longer the easiest. I don't know if that makes sense. As turtlechex said, take it when you have time and when you feel you're ready. If there really are easier test dates, I think the differences are negligible.
