typically....

Sorry, I’m not sure if you are a current or incoming student, but:

Incoming Freshmen register for classes during APA days (May and June).

As a current student, Students register on a specific day and time frame based on the number of credits completed (not including the credits you are currently taking that semester): 105+, 90, 75, 60, 45, 30, 20, 1, 0. A freshman who came in with no AP credits have 0 credits and are the last to register for Spring classes.

Applying for Spring classes in the Fall = early November until mid-November (often before Thanksgiving break)

Applying for next Fall’s classes in the Spring = sometime in late March, but the schedule’s not up yet so I don’t know.

Im an incoming freshman

In that case, in May or June depending on when you sign up for academic planning and advising days.

Don’t worry about it now. You’ll have to wait until April or so to sign up for it via your enrollment pathway.

Is there sufficient attention to assisting incoming freshman to make sure they are signed up for the right courses? I get the impression that Rutgers size generates a “you’re on your own” mentality and incomings are running around with no idea what to do or where to go to find out. True?
