When is the deadline to add a school to our UC application?

<p>I only applied to Berkeley and UCLA and I want to add UCSD for backup.When is the deadline? And can I add a school online or thru the phone? I don't want to use mail since I never bothered to learn how to write a check lol</p>

<p>Here’s what it says on the UC Application Status website:</p>

<p>“*How do I add a new campus to my application?

Mail a copy of your processing acknowledgment letter or email back to the Application Processing Service, listing the additional campus and major choice. If you do not have your processing acknowledgment letter, write to the Application Processing Service with your request, being sure to list your full name, address, the application ID number, and your new campus and major choice. Enclose the appropriate processing fee for each new campus you select. If your campus/major choice is not available, you will receive reimbursement of the processing fee within approximately 5 weeks.”</p>
