<p>I'm just wondering how much time you should give any college before deciding to transfer. Obviously, it's a big decision...are people unhappy in college now generally resolve their issues by the end of freshman year? Or if I'm unhappy now, does that mean that this is definetely the wrong school for me? I am trying to sort all this out...is November too early to decide, or too late for how I feel to change?</p>

<p>If you do choose to apply, deadlines for fall are generally around march/april so it is not too late.
But first you need to ask yourself WHY you want want to transfer. Is the school too weak for your major? do you not fit there academically or socially? You should really make a conscious decision about this is because it is such a huge step to take, and if done from the wrong reasons/ not planned well, the results can be bad.
So the first thing you should do is really reflect and see why you are unhappy, and if transferring will resolve the issue. That would help to CC people to give an honest and thought out opinion.</p>
